The ChilliDB Gmail™ add-on collects data from Your Gmail™ account in accordance with the general ChilliDB Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

 

Running the add-on and opening an email in Gmail™ will automatically transmit metadata about the selected email from Gmail™ to ChilliDB's servers, in order to provide the choices that You may select while using the add-on. The data sent may contain any or all of the following:

• email sender

• email recipient(s)

• email subject

• date and time the email was sent

• email message ID

• Your Gmail™ address

 

By pressing the "Store Email" button in the ChilliDB Gmail™ add-on, You give Your consent for the following data to be transmitted to, and stored on, the ChilliDB servers:

• any of the data in the previous list

• the email body (the message itself)

• if You had opted to do so, any attached files and/or inline images

 

While using the add-on, certain data and features within ChilliDB may also be exposed in the other direction, for You to work with ChilliDB data from within Gmail™. The add-on may do the following:

• look up basic information about Your ChilliDB account to show Your log in status

• look up whether a Note has already been created from a given email, and its page address if it has

• look up limited information about Contacts, Organisations and Note Categorisation to make them selectable as options from within the add-on

• create new Notes, Contacts and Organisations
